Alexandria Technical and Community College, one of America’s premier two year colleges, is proud to offer over 50 programs with hands-on learning in a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Three times recognized in the Office of Higher Education’s “Minnesota Measures” report on education, Alexandria Technical & Community College had the highest success percentages of all the state’s public two-year colleges in three categories: Student Retention, Student Graduation Rate, and Combined Student Graduation/Transfer Rate.

Alexandria T&CC is actively increasing partnerships with other colleges and universities to provide online and transfer opportunities for its students. The most recent is the availability of the Associate in Arts (AA) two-year degree that can be completed right here in Alexandria. With significant savings during their first two years, after two years at Alexandria T&CC, students may transfer to another college or university to complete their four-year degree. Now more than ever, area high school students are pursuing the Post Secondary Education Options (PSEO) program to access tuition-free college coursework while in high school.

Founded in 1961, Alexandria Technical & Community College has established a solid reputation for quality instruction and service to its students. Alexandria T&CC is a member college of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System and currently serves over 3,500 students annually. Alexandria Technical and Community College’s Foundation awards exceed $150,000 in student support and scholarships each year. Additionally, 85% of students recently received more than $11 million in financial aid.
