Ecumen Bethany Community Honored as the 2014 BIAD Recipient
Ecumen Bethany Community was the recipient of the 2014 Business & Industrial Appreciation Day awarded by the Boards of Directors of the Alexandria Area Economic Development Commission and Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Business & Industrial Appreciation Day (BIAD) event has honored a Douglas County company each year since 1984.
Annually, one company from the region is selected as the BIAD recipient based upon the impact of the business on the job market, increase in sales and/or unit volume, capital Investment; and community contributions. See here for more information on Ecumen Bethany Community.
TOP MICROPOLITAN IN MN
Site Selection Magazine released its "Top Metros and Top Micropolitans" list and Alexandria was listed as the Top Micropolitan in Minnesota, and 6th overall in the nation.
Communities were ranked based upon the number of qualifying significant commercial construction/expansion projects.
